The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra held the annual evaluation conference for the academic year 2022-2023 under the slogan of evaluation for the purpose of development to discuss the scientific process in the college.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nedaa Muhammad Baqir, reviewed the college’s activities and achievements, which revealed a development in scientific activities such as local and international conferences, seminars and workshops, an increase in teaching staff, titles and scientific research completed, and the opening of doctoral studies in the English Language Department, as well as obtaining approvals to open two science branches. Educational psychology and special education in the Department of Psychological and Educational Sciences, striving to develop a professional teaching diploma study, and working to consolidate the scientific aspects and update the scientific plan for the departments and teachers.
The conference showed the remarkable development in the administrative and urban aspects and services through the establishment of many halls, rooms and scientific laboratories, the purchase of electrical appliances and the repair of furniture, as well as the beginning of the construction of a complex of study halls.
The conference was attended by a number of college deans, the mayor, the director of education in Abu Al-Khasib district, the scientific and administrative assistant, the heads of scientific departments, and the teaching staff.
