As part of the health visits program held by the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra and under the guidance of the Deanship of the College, faculty members in the Children’s and Preventive Dentistry branch took the initiative to visit and examine the kindergarten and nursery students of the Basra Children’s Club.
The visit aimed to provide explanatory lessons to kindergarten children about the importance of oral and dental health, examine the children and diagnose those who need dental treatment and orthodontics, and provide a detailed introductory explanation of oral and dental hygiene and its importance, as well as the stages and times of brushing and caring for teeth, in an introductory manner that is specific to the age of the children.
During the visit, some kindergarten gifts were presented by faculty members and college students to the kindergarten administration to plant joy and smiles on the children’s lips.
The kindergarten administration also thanked and appreciated the college’s efforts to serve the community.
