The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra, in cooperation with the Center for Fatimid Studies, Basra Branch, held a scientific symposium entitled The March of Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and the future of generations.
The symposium aimed to introduce the missionary role of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, her titles and characteristics, and to explain the educational impact of Lady Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, on the Muslim family.
The symposium, which was moderated by Dr. Shaker Wadi Jaber, touched on flashes from the life of Lady Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and her ideological, moral, and human behavior, which represented the ideal model of the religious believer woman. She was an example of chastity and honor, a model of covering and veiling, and a role model in obedience and worship. The symposium demonstrated the role of Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, socially and educationally, was a housewife of a special type. She raised her children with good qualities and noble morals, and she performed all the roles that a woman plays in serving her children.
Dr. Maha Abdullah, Dr. Atka Habib, and Dr. Zainab Abdel-Jabbar participated in the symposium.
