The Arabic Language Department at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a panel discussion on the doctrinal and intellectual educational dimensions of the commandments of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Abbasid era.
The symposium aimed to explain the purpose of the educational, doctrinal and intellectual commandments of the People of the House (peace be upon them) and the extent of their impact on the individual and their repercussions on society.
The symposium presented by graduate student Yasmine Nouri Thamer showed that the jurisprudential and doctrinal commandments of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) and the social, moral and intellectual rulings and directives have provided the arena with various data in every aspect of life, and provide the individual with theoretical vision and rulings that are consistent with natural instinct, which is far from Repression and hatred, which was characterized by its eloquence of pronunciation, clarity of meaning, and frequent citation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s hadith, had a very important impact on the souls of people and built an integrated personality far from bad behavior.
