The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a seminar on the phonetic level in Surat Al-Kahf in modern linguistic studies, presentation and analysis.
The seminar aimed to present a picture of the reality of some Qur’anic linguistic studies and the products presented by some scholars, and to reveal their efforts in this field and find out what studies they have covered.
The seminar, presented by graduate student Hoda Hassan Abdel Shahid, touched on the Qur’anic comma and the phenomenon of intonation. It also showed that the scientific value of these studies varied between proficiency and weakness, novelty and repetition of the products of those who came before them, and titles and topics whose successors do not differ from their predecessors. Some of them reached the point of taking the text of what they wrote from He literally presents it to make it a study that he presents in scientific forums and then attributes that effort to himself.
