Our college, with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Wasfi Zahir Abdel Ali, teacher Noha Saeed Kazem, researcher Amani Saeed, assistant teacher Sakina Hafez, organized faculty members and the Smile of Amal team on a visit to the orphanage. Basra branch and providing psychological and moral support to them through direct efforts by students and faculty of the College of Nursing. In pursuit of community service aimed at planting the spirit of hope and happiness in the hearts of the Roses of the people of their community
A simple message was conveyed to them, that they are children like all children, there is no difference between them and anyone else and that they are not outcasts or different from the society in which we live. Their lives and circumstances were also learned and a number of gifts and toys were presented to them.
This visit comes as part of the college’s efforts to support all student activities, especially those of a voluntary and humanitarian nature, in recognition of the college’s pioneering role and the importance of participating in improving and advancing society, in order to achieve its goals and mission of social responsibility, and promoting morals and human values in a way that serves society.
