University of Basrah receives a delegation from the Korean company Daewoo
Within the framework of joint cooperation and openness of University of Basrah to international companies operating in Basrah Governorate, the College of Engineering at University of Basrah received a delegation from the Korean Daewoo Company. The meeting included discussing the possibility of signing an agreement between the consulting office affiliated with College of Engineering and the Korean company Daewoo, which works under the supervision of the Basrah Governorate Ports Directorate, which is implementing a group of projects in Basrah Governorate, including the road linking Al-Faw and Umm Qasr and a group of other projects, where it was agreed to Preparing a draft agreement bringing together the Engineering Consulting Office of the College of Engineering with the Basrah Ports Directorate and the Korean company Daewoo to conduct special examinations of projects and provide engineering consultations. At the end of the meeting, a field visit was made to the laboratories of the Civil Engineering Department, the laboratories of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and the Chemical Engineering Department, where they were informed of the tests that these laboratories could conduct for the Korean Daewoo Company.
