Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, two faculty members from the college visited the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs in Basra. This is considered part of the college’s support for external bodies. Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan, pediatric surgery specialist and rapporteur of the Surgery Branch, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Mardan Hamoud, head, contributed to the visit to the Authority. Diseases Branch and the teacher, Dr. Ahmed Badr Abdel Wahed, rapporteur of the Physiology Branch. Some food supplies, detergents, toys for children, and other needs were contributed, in addition to the commitment of college teachers and doctors to provide full medical support to all caregivers and employees of the Authority.
