The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a seminar on the psychological and behavioral effects of following influencers on social media platforms by young people in general and adolescents and children in particular.
The seminar aimed to explain the general principles involved in following influencers by young people, and the positive and negative effects of this following.
The episode presented by Dr. Nada Razzaq included an explanation of the most important psychological foundations and their behavioral effects on young people’s personalities and thinking in general and on teenagers in particular, and imitating these characters who have become a model for this critical age group of society and following them, whether they are negative or positive characters alike.
