The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a seminar on masculine thought.
The episode aimed to define the concept of masculine thought, what are its characteristics, the reasons that push individuals to adopt this thought, and the harms resulting from it in dealing with others.
The lecture, presented by Prof. Dr. Zainab Faleh Al-Shawi defines the concept of masculine thought as the sum of behaviors and ideas through which men are able to dominate women in society.
She showed that masculinity is not limited to men, but rather is a combination of ideas and behaviors that men and women alike believe in, and women may strengthen it further through their surrender to masculine ideas, their practice of male oppression against girls of their gender, and their implantation in the generations that raise them and with whom the child interacts from the beginning. His life, unless she has the culture and is trained to raise the child in a sound and correct way, then the child’s personality will be intact and far from authoritarian male thought.
