The Department of Human Sciences at the College of Education for the Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a discussion panel on the achievement struggle and its role in improving the self, under the title: Achievement struggle is a psychological necessity for the self towards improving it.
The seminar aimed to demonstrate the importance of the achievement struggle for self-realization, the characteristics of those at this level, and the extent of their connection with the achievement struggle.
The episode presented by researcher Haneen Jawad showed that the achievement struggle is positively related to the individual’s personal traits. Those who have the achievement struggle have high motivation for achievement and high levels of ambition to face various circumstances and continue their academic achievement. They have a high level of struggle that pushes them to set and achieve their future goals. People with the achievement struggle are distinguished by organization and self-control. And perseverance, and they see that achievement is a pleasure to improve their lives for the better.
