The University of Basra organizes a seminar on the dramatic component of pre-Islamic poetry
The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a seminar on the dramatic component of pre-Islamic poetry - the poetry of the Knights as an example.
The seminar aimed to reveal the existence of the academic component of pre-Islamic poetry and monitor the achievements of knightly poets and the extent of their reliance on the components of dramatic work in constructing images of the texts of their poetic poems.
The episode presented by Dr. Hind Akram Al-Jubeir showed that the Knights’ poetic poems used the components of the dramatic work to express their intellectual, psychological, and artistic structure in a creative way that demonstrates the fertility of these texts, the richness of their components, and their containment of many diverse and distinctive artistic phenomena, and used them to indicate their heroism, courage, and ability to confront and triumph over their lives. Although this is symbolic, it expresses his inner feeling, and this creativity is due to the poet’s artistic ability, objective experience, and emotional psychological state at the moment of his poetic creativity and the event that he is treating.
