The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra honored its retired employees in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Fateh Abdel-Sahib Al-Khaqani, Dean of the College, the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Taha Yassin, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Taha Yassin, and a group of employees and professors.
Al-Khaqani referred by giving a speech to the effort they made during their period of service at the College of Dentistry, in which she said: “To those with high determination and sincere hearts, you who have striven with all your might to make the work a success. You are an example of the unknown soldier. You have been patient with hardship and endured difficulties. All the meanings of thanks and expressions are not enough.” Appreciation for your efforts and dedication to serving the college’s pioneers. You fulfilled your trust, completed the mission, and participated in serving Iraq. You are a pride for all of us.
The scientific assistant gave a speech on this occasion, saying: (I extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to achieving and holding this honoring ceremony. I am pleased to participate in this honor, which is a symbol of loyalty and love, and to live a happy life. You have fulfilled your duty and contributed to the advancement of this institution. Whoever works with this effort and sincerity deserves to be honored. He will be among the distinguished, grateful and honored, so thank you.
Dr. Raed Taha Yassin and a group of professors and employees also thanked their retired colleagues, hoping to God that communication between them would continue. We worked in this lofty edifice together, spending the best years of our lives, which brought together our hearts with the highest feelings of respect and appreciation, filled with the most beautiful memories.
At the end of the ceremony, the retired women were honored with a certificate of thanks in appreciation, appreciation and gratitude for the distinguished contributions they provided throughout their work and for leaving an unforgettable mark in the service of our dear country, asking God Almighty to protect and take care of you.
