Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, a number of teaching staff from the College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in the international conference that was held within the College of Nursing at the University of Nishapur in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visiting delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Sondos Baqir Daoud, Assistant Dean for Affairs. Academic and Professor Dr. Sajjad Salem Issa, faculty member and teacher Afkar Fadel Karim, Head of the Fundamentals of Nursing Branch
The conference, which was held under the slogan of childbirth and the decline in the fertility rate, included fertility in general and the promotion of reproductive health. The assistant professor, Dr. Sondos Baqir Daoud, and the teacher, Afkar Fadel Karim, participated in researching (miscarriage and the effects of the social and economic status of pregnant women). This research focused on reproductive health for most women. Iranian women refuse to have children despite life going on and the cost of a child in building a family, in addition to the need for prior planning to be an economic and social process and the time it takes for the family, which was among the needs of this conference.
Many Arab and international countries participated in this conference via the Internet, including Canada, Australia, and Britain
And how to organize the family and not be affected by these conditions. Through the conference, graphs were shared showing that the future of this period is an increase in the elderly at the level of the productive group of society, so that there is no population growth in the younger groups in the population growth in Iranian society. Therefore, the scientific research in the conference included strengthening the prisoners of all Aspects.
