
The Dentistry College at Basra University organized a visit to Al-Baraem Orphanage in Basra Governorate, which was carried out by professors, doctors and students of the college.
The professor, Sarah Adel Haji, explained that the students conducted the necessary examinations for the orphans and organized their visits to the educational clinics of the Dentistry College for the purpose of providing medical services.
Assistant lecturer Hoda Jassim Jabr indicated that this visit came from the principle of employing the university in serving the visual community and paying attention to these segments in particular.
In a related context, professor Hanaa Khazal Jaber, said that the college, with its educational clinics, is ready to coordinate with orphanages and provide free medical services to them. Representatives of Baraem Basra Orphanage also expressed their thanks for such visits organized by the Dentistry College and for its sense of responsibility and humanitarian spirit towards the people of their community.
