The second book was issued by professors at the University of Basra, College of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Amir Hassan al-Najjar, Professor Dr. Wasan Fawzi Fadel al-Ibrasim, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shaker al-Ibrahimi from Dhi Qar University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Faten Hussein al-Dulaimi from the University of Baghdad, entitled (Flower Physiology). Physiology) This book was prepared to serve as a scientific reference to serve all educational levels (primary and higher). This book contains five chapters, the first of which deals with the families of flowering plants, the history of their division, the scientific foundations used in the division, and the study of flower structure. The second chapter deals with the flower, its composition, types, methods of pollination and fertilization, and the stages of its development. As for the third chapter, it dealt with the topic of photomorphogenesis and the effect of light on the flowering process, as well as dividing plants according to their need for a long photoperiod. As for the fourth chapter, it dealt with the topic of sensation in plants, including this term, including plant movements such as tropism and the theories that explain them. Finally, the fifth chapter dealt with plant hormones and their effects. General in the plant, especially the flowering process .
