The College of Dentistry at Basra University won the first place in the university free drawing competition, which was held at the College of Law, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department.
Professor Dr. Atheer Abbas said that a number of talented male and female students from all colleges participated in the university free-drawing competition, and the Dentistry College came in first place, where the two paintings of the two students, Zainab Qasim Hamid and Aya Essam Hussein, were admired by the judging panel and received a prize of Shield and certificate of appreciation.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Amir pointed out that some of the students of Dentistry College have literary, poetic, and cultural talents and also have hobbies in the arts of drawing, Arabic calligraphy, handicrafts and photography, in addition to that, they have participated in many competitions held by Basra University and won ranks highly among the participating colleges.
