The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a discussion panel on the impact of morphological structure in the poetry of Rashid Salim Al-Khoury and the addition structures and their morphological value in constructing the poetic text.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the aesthetics of language, its inherent mechanisms in the poetic text, its primary elements, and methods of linguistic analysis.
The episode presented by the student Doaa Muhammad Kazem showed that the diversity of linguistic analysis methods follows the diversity of linguistic levels, and that the aesthetic text is composed of these levels, and what distinguishes one text from another is due to the action of these levels, and that any increase in structure is followed by an increase in meaning, and that the poet’s reliance on The morphological structures and their various forms were not created out of thin air, but rather out of a poetic awareness of the value of language in highlighting significance and expressing different psychological feelings
