Professor Enas Wahab Abboud, a teaching assistant at the College of Science, Department of Mathematics, participated in a committee to discuss a master’s thesis on security for smart buildings within the IOT environment by graduate student Batoul Muhammad Radi in the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra. The thesis aims to present a scheme for securing data sent within a smart building environment, where signals are sent from sensors linked to control units and connected to the network and to a local server within a secured environment with encryption algorithms to protect it and facilitate access to it by authorized persons only.
