Patent conferences are important for several reasons, some of which are as follows:
It encourages investment in research and development, as inventors know that their innovations will receive the necessary protection. The patent system encourages creative thinking and innovation in various fields, as it acts as an incentive for individuals and companies to develop new technology. In addition to exchanging ideas and information between governorates and countries for the purpose of scientific benefit and practical application of distinctive ideas
The aim of his teaching participation is to: Submit a patent for the production of deadly toxins from two soil yeasts and use them to treat fungal and bacterial pathogens.
The conference included a review of ways to enhance cooperation between the industrial and academic sectors to develop and accelerate patent search and presentation processes in various specializations.
The conference topics included interest in medical, biotechnology, and engineering aspects, sharing success stories of inventors and companies in developing and marketing new inventions, the future vision for the performance of universities and their role in building cognitive capabilities specialized in social responsibility, and the role of universities in empowering university youth with the contents of scientific aspects and exploiting them for application. Ideas in the reality of Iraqi society for the purpose of the country’s scientific progress and raising it to the level of developed countries, as through knowledge and work peoples rise
