A lecturer at University of Basrah participates in the Twelfth International Conference on Development and Environment at Assiut University
A lecturer at College of Administration and Economics at University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Nadwa Hilal Gouda, participated with Dr. Widad Edwar Wadi in the twelfth international conference on development and the environment in the Arab world. Sustainable development and confronting environmental and climate change challenges and solutions, which was held at Assiut University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The participation included presenting a research paper entitled The requirements for the transition towards a circular economy, international experiences with the possibility of benefiting from them in Iraq The research aims to know the importance of the circular economy by improving the use of resources in all stages of the life cycle of a good or service while reducing the environmental footprint and contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities, and preserving natural resources, that is, by keeping raw materials and products in production cycles for the longest possible period of time.
