The Department of Educational Guidance and Guidance at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a panel discussion on the importance of mastery motivation for educational counselors.
The seminar aimed to demonstrate the extent of success of educational counselors and their adaptation to circumstances for the purpose of mastering their work.
The episode presented by the teacher, Shahad Raysan Al-Assal, showed that the motivation for mastery is a fundamental, multi-faceted psychological force that drives the individual to try to create, and that the success of every work depends on the characteristics and characteristics of those who perform it, and the knowledge, information, abilities, preparations they possess, and the ability to adapt and modify the circumstances with which they interact.
The researcher added that mentors must follow the most important forms of mastery motivation, including motivation for objective, social, and motor mastery to achieve objective goals, because mastery is linked to specific goals or topics and to interacting with others in an efficient manner by showing positive emotions during social interactions, and that the mentor’s distinction is achieved through the quality of the work he performs.
