The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a workshop on air pollution problems and solution mechanisms within a skills development program for graduate students.
The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the health and environmental effects resulting from air pollution.
The workshop, in which Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz lectured, included a comprehensive overview of the issues related to air pollution, the main causes of this problem, and its connection to the field of environmental sciences.
The workshop recommended exploring and discussing strategies and techniques available to mitigate this problem and limit its effects.
