The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on "Evaluation of genetic diversity in different strains of Entamoeba spp. and its impact on pathogenicity" for the graduate student Duaa Mardan Khalid. The study aims to explore the pathogenic strains caused by Entamoeba spp., and the study included the investigation of amoebic dysentery, which is considered one of the major global health problems, its prevalence in Iraq, methods of infection, and the factors affecting the severity of the disease caused by the genus Entamoeba, in addition to its role in exacerbating the medical condition.
