The Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basrah organized an electronic workshop on the approach of positive behavior support in treating behavioral problems for children and adolescents (PBS). The aim of the workshop is to introduce the positive behavior support approach in psychology and learn how to use positive behavior support techniques in dealing with behavioral problems. Proposing a model for employing the positive behavior support approach (PBS) in dealing with children’s problems The workshop presented by Dr. Walid Etman included a doctorate in special education and autism, a diploma in counseling and clinical psychology, and a specialized course in behavior management and modification (PBS Positive Behavior Support Orientation). The applied approach to psychology and behavior management and modification.. What is the difference? And the basic procedures in modifying behavior and the axes of dealing with behavioral problems from A to Z, supporting positive behavior from origin to the future, and supporting positive behavior... How does it work effectively “with evidence”? And when does the behavioral problem require intervention? In the end, the recommendation was the necessity of starting to implement positive behavior support (PBS) from early childhood and expanding the use of positive behavior support (PBS) in nurseries and schools.
