The head of Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and his accompanying delegation, participated in the International Forum (ATOMEXPO-2024) held in Russia in the city of Sochi for the period 25 to 26 March. The Minister of Education confirmed in a press statement on the sidelines of the participation that Iraq has a specific strategy in this field and is open to the global industrial environment to discuss paths for implementing the zero nuclear reactor project, which will provide a scientific space for training and the completion of specialized educational research in Iraqi universities. The International Forum (ATOMEXPO-2024) is one of the important conferences and exhibitions in the global nuclear industry, in which directors of government agencies, global nuclear industry companies, public organizations, international experts and representatives of foreign countries participate. The forum will witness a special exhibition for leading companies in the global nuclear industry and sectors related to engineering technologies in the field of energy.
