The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a scientific symposium on Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, entitled Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, Pioneer of Missionary Planning.
The symposium aimed to identify the missionary role of Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, and the impact of community awareness and its importance on the position of Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, in the path of the Islamic nation.
The symposium, which was presented by a number of college teachers, included an explanation of the nature of society in the era of Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, its different temperaments and way of thinking, the factors that influenced it, the role of the Imam in saving the nation, and his wisdom in preserving the blood of Muslims and their beliefs, as well as the reason for calling the day of celebrating the Imam’s birth Qarqan.
