The College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit and under the direct supervision of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, organized a volunteer campaign to distribute food baskets to underprivileged families, coinciding with the last week of the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative falls within the diverse activities and multiple campaigns conducted by the college to serve the community.

The Head of the Unit, Professor Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayahi, stated that the campaign aimed to distribute food baskets in underprivileged and impoverished areas of Basrah Governorate. The distribution to families in need was carried out through the dedicated efforts of the college's staff and professors, who continually seek to fulfill their humanitarian role and implement volunteer campaigns aimed at supporting social causes, thereby actualizing the college's motto of bringing academia into the service of society.
