The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Antimicrobial peptides: the future weapon in fight against antibiotic resistance) by the graduate student Jinan Mossa Jasim The study aims to clarify the importance of peptides as safe alternative treatments Fighting antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The study included isolating peptides- producing organisms, genetically diagnosing them and extracting antibacterial peptides, and then studying their activity against some antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains isolated from patients.
