The University of Basra organizes a seminar on the poet Hussein Al-Samahiji
The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra organized a panel discussion on the poet Hussein Al-Samahiji entitled (Poetry of the Poet Hussein Al-Samahiji), a study of language levels.
The seminar aimed to introduce the poet Al-Samahiji and his literary productions, and to explain his poetic and critical opinions, and his poetic experience.
The episode, presented by graduate student Sahira Hassan Ali, included a study of the life of the poet Hussein Al-Samahiji, as he is one of the most prominent poets of the nineties generation in the Bahraini and Gulf poetic scene and in Arab poetry forums and festivals. His poetry was characterized by ambiguity, symbolism, and the dominance of a religious aspect. He believes that the text is not a trite text. Or flabby or weak, there must be some mystery in it that makes it acceptable to the recipient.
