A teacher at the College of Education for Humanities participates in a scientific symposium
Lecturer Khawla Hassan Hammoud Al-Aboudi at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra participated in a scientific symposium on the danger of drugs under the title Drugs are the Devil’s Way, in partnership with the College of Agriculture.
The symposium aimed to introduce the harms of drugs, immunize students, and convey true and balanced information about drugs.
The symposium included many topics in which it addressed ways to protect youth through care, attention, and providing psychological and moral support, developing adherence to religious morals after the tyranny of material and modern technology, attending educational seminars that teach about the harms of drugs and ways to prevent them, and not being drawn into methods and temptations on social networking sites that promote For drugs.
The symposium recommended the necessity of building and strengthening young people’s intellectual, social and behavioral capabilities, developing their self-confidence, making them aware of their general social role, holding awareness seminars and including in school curricula the harms of this dangerous scourge.
