A delegation from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah participated in the Eleventh International Conference of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, held under the theme "New Developments in Pharmaceutical Education and Research". The delegation was headed by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, and included a highly respected group of the college's professors. The conference witnessed broad participation from professors and researchers from Arab and foreign countries, aiming to exchange expertise and information regarding the future prospects of pharmaceutical education, explore the latest developments in this field, and highlight the importance and substantial role of medical research in serving the community.

Furthermore, the conference aimed to familiarize participants with the latest scientific research and practical experiments applied in various global universities regarding pharmaceutical education and modern methods for its advancement. The event featured the presentation of numerous scientific papers by local and international researchers covering diverse pharmaceutical topics. These presentations were interspersed with comprehensive scientific discussions intended to draw upon the diverse experiences of the researchers. Ultimately, the participants concluded by emphasizing the necessity of developing research work within educational institutions and providing all required facilities and laboratories to enhance the scientific capabilities of Iraqi universities.
