The College of Dentistry at Basra University organized a visit to the Center for Genetic Blood Diseases in Basra Governorate, under the supervision and follow-up of the College Dean, his professors and students, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit.
The visit included reviewing the conditions of the lying and injured children, standing by them and raising their morale, in addition to providing moral support by distributing some gifts and toys to the children.
This visit undertaken by the college aims to draw a smile on the faces of patients because the psychological factor has a major impact on the success of treatment, and this is what the college is keen on in providing and supporting humanitarian activities that serve society in general and children in particular, as they represent the nation’s wealth and a basic building block in building the future.
For his part, the doctors and employees of the center welcomed this noble humanitarian initiative from the staff and students of the University of Basra, and special thanks were extended to the College of Dentistry.
