The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing at the University of Basra hosted a scientific lecture on vital signs, in which the teacher, Dr. Firas Abdel Qader, head of the Community Health Branch, the professor, Dr. Sajjad Salem Issa, and the teacher, Dr. Hisham Hussein Abdel Raouf, lectured, members of the college’s teaching staff. The lecture included a detailed explanation of vital signs, including measuring blood pressure and measuring temperature, how to measure them, knowing the normal and abnormal rate, and methods of measurement. The researchers also went over the definition of vital signs (pulse, respiration, temperature, and blood pressure) and how to measure them. The lecture also included To define vital signs and the importance of measuring them, their natural ratios, types of calibrators and devices used to measure them, conditions that affect the measurement method, in addition to the correct method for measuring them.
