The Department of Earth Science in the College of Science organized a special celebration on University Day and Science Day together. The celebration included a speech by the head of the department on this occasion, as well as many diverse and purposeful paragraphs, the most notable of which was the presentation of the scientific products and achievements of the Department of Earth Science for the last five years, and the establishment of an awareness play in which a group of students participated about the media. The celebration also included multiple participations, such as an exhibition of stones and rocks, bazaars, and handicrafts.
