The Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri, presented a training workshop on education, learning, teaching, the model and their practical applications at the opening of the fourth ministerial training course on teaching methods towards blended learning, which was held at the University of Basra.
The workshop aimed to familiarize trainees with the most important educational terms used in educational curricula and how to use them in light of technological and scientific development.
The workshop included some training activities that depend on the trainee and the use of brainstorming and feedback methods, and an explanation of the role of the professor in the educational process and how to develop his role to raise the level of students’ thinking.
Al-Yasiri touched on the most important theories on which teaching and learning are based, and that the psychological motivation and sanctity of this profession be the starting point for the teacher to perform his role with all honesty and sincerity to ensure the quality of the outputs.
