A doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Science , University of Basrah examined the petrophysical analysis and the three-dimensional model of the supervisor formation in the northern Rumaila oil field, southern Iraq. The thesis presented by the student (Safa Hazem Hamid) aims to study the petrophysical properties of the formation using conventional and unconventional sensors and using statistical methods after dividing the formation into 5 main units , 3 reservoir units and two non-reservoir units . The thesis included identifying the flow units after classifying them into 5 flow units and drawing a three-dimensional model of each of the structural maps, effective porosity rates, permeability, oil and water saturations.The thesis concluded that the most important influencing properties are effective porosity and permeability with low water saturation,especially in MB1, MB2 units, in addition to the classification of rock types from (RT1)to (RT5) . The letter recommended the need for modern sensors such as the imager sensor and nuclear magnetometer sensors in Wells where they are not present to obtain the best results and calculations .
