The College of Nursing at the University of Basra organized first aid courses for supervisors of internal departments at the University of Basra
The program will consist of several intensive courses delivered by a number of qualified college teachers, using its latest laboratories, and the program will begin on Sunday, 5/12/2024.
It lasted for a week and covered the first workshop, in which the assistant professor, Dr. Sondos Baqir Daoud, and the assistant lecturer, Sakina Hafez Ahmed, lectured.
A lecture entitled vital signs for internal department supervisors. The lecture included an introductory introduction to how to deal with internal department students when there are health problems. It also included an introductory introduction to vital signs, how to measure them, the normal rates of vital signs and the factors affecting them. The workshop aimed to train internal department supervisors on Dealing with minor health cases for internal department students. The theoretical part was presented by Research Assistant Atyaf Sajjad, Research Assistant Zainab Kamel, and Research Assistant Ali Abdel Razzaq, and the applied part of vital signs, where they were trained to measure blood pressure, pulse rate, breathing, and temperature.
