A group of distinguished faculty members at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, has recently published a specialized scientific book titled "Medical Terms." The book, printed by the Kosmos Institute for Research and Technology in India, serves as an essential academic guide for first-year medical students.

The publication was authored by Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Nasser Al-Salman, Prof. Dr. Dawood Jallob Heleel, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammed Hadi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rana Dawood Salman.

Spanning six comprehensive chapters, the book explores core medical terminology, anatomy, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems, alongside digestive, reproductive, and functional systems. It provides a simplified and systematic explanation of scientific terms for every system in the human body, facilitating better comprehension for multi-disciplinary medical fields.
