College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah held an expanded meeting with the First Deputy Governor of Basrah, Professor Durgham Al-Ajwadi. The meeting was attended by a delegation from the College of Pharmacy headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Falah HassanSheri and Dr. Ahmed Najm Abboud. Dr. Sheri said: The meeting dealt with several axes about a mechanism of cooperation between the College of Pharmacy and Basra Governorate in order to develop the infrastructure of the college and establish new classrooms to accommodate the increasing numbers of our dear students, as well as establishing scientific laboratories equipped with the latest laboratory devices in order to develop the scientific reality of the college and university.Dr.Sheri added: The preventive measures and the necessary preparations for receiving new students admitted to the College of Pharmacy for the academic year 2020/2021 were also discussed, as the college fumigated and prepared the place of registration and provided ways to prevent the virus by providing sterilizers, masks and gloves.
