The University of Science / Department of geoscience at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the stratigraphy of the Miocene cycle and in central and southern Iraq. The seminar, which was attended by PhD student Ziauddin Kazim, included a brief explanation of what the study is, the nature of the work, the goals desired from it, and the methods of work used to reach the goals of the study.the stages of the work completed to the present and how to complete the remaining stages were also answered about the inquiries of the attendees, their interventions and advice for the purpose of enriching the study and directing it optimally.
