The College of Nursing at the University of Basra organized a workshop on how to deal with cases of fractures and bruises. The beneficiary group was the supervisors of the internal departments at the University of Basra. The workshop, which was attended by Dr. Muhammad Reda Akbar, a faculty member at the college, included an introduction to the different types of fractures, the causes of fractures, the clinical symptoms of fractures, methods of diagnosing fractures, and how to treat fractures and complications of fractures.
The workshop also included an introduction to bone fractures and ways to treat them. These fractures are a medical condition that occurs due to severe force on the bones, such as falls and car accidents, or due to bone stress, as is the case with fractures that affect athletes. Fractures may also occur as a result of some medical conditions that weaken the bones, such as Osteoporosis or some types of cancer, which is known as pathological fracture and common fractures.
