The lecturer at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Dr. Alaa Hussein Odeh, gave a lecture at the Union of Writers and Writers, Basra Branch, entitled (Electronic translation between reality and ambition).
The lecture aimed to introduce the most important characteristics of electronic translation, its drawbacks, and its relationship to the literary text.
The lecture, which was part of the activities of the Translation Forum of the Union of Writers and Writers in Basra, included an explanation of the concept of translation, the characteristics of language, and the relationship between electronic translation and literary text. The lecturer explained that electronic translation is often impossible without human intervention for reformulation and linguistic checking, and pointing out translation errors.
