The President of University of Basrah receives a Schlumberger delegation

The President of University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, received the General Manager of Schlumberger, Iraq Branch, Mr. Waseem Al-Azm and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center and the directors of some departments at the university. During the visit, joint research projects between the two sides and job and training opportunities provided by the company to university graduates during the past three years were presented. The President of the University discussed with the visiting delegation many scientific and research topics that the two parties seek to achieve, the most important of which is addressing some of the problems facing oil companies with the possibility of finding solutions to them through researchers, as well as directing graduate students to specializations that solve many of these problems while providing them with support by the company.
