A lecturer at the College of Science at the University of Basra, Mr. Moataz Hikmat Othman, in the Department of Ecology, published an article entitled Pathogenic Building Syndrome - A Problem Threatening Offices
The article included a detailed explanation of the side effects of distraction pollution inside buildings, known as “sick building syndrome,” with the beginning of the spread of the use of electrical appliances and the symptoms associated with the syndrome.
The article was published in the Iraqi “sky” news agency, which outlined tips to avoid the syndrome, including the concepts of modern architecture, or what is called green or sustainable architecture.
