Lecturer Moataz Hikmat Othman in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science participated in the Green Basra workshop to confront pollution, which was held at the Al-Farahidi Street Theater, sponsored by the Basra Injaz Foundation for Development and Development and the Al-Firdous Association. Participation included giving a lecture entitled Visual pollution is a constant concern.
The lecture included the definition of visual pollution, the causes and dimensions of visual pollution, the most important awareness and legal controls, as well as the most important treatments for this type of pollution and the role of afforestation in parks and streets to reduce visual pollution. The lecture also showed the health and environmental effects of this type of pollution.
