The thesis by doctoral student Zainab Kazem Abdel Hassan aims to reveal (building an educational program based on the generative learning model, and to identify the effectiveness of the educational program in the achievement of female fourth-grade literary students in the subject of sociology, and to identify the differences in achievement among female fourth-grade literary students in the subject of science.) The meeting between an experimental group that studied using the educational program and a control group that studied using the usual method.
The thesis dealt with the two descriptive approaches in constructing a proposed educational program based on the generative learning model, and the experimental approach in verifying the research hypotheses. The research sample consisted of two groups (experimental and control), each group consisting of (30) female students from Al-Miqat Preparatory School for Girls.
The thesis concluded (that the educational program based on the generative learning model is effective in increasing female students’ achievement rates in sociology for the fourth literary grade, and that the proposed educational program based on the generative learning model made the focus of the educational process shift from the teacher and the book to the female students, and the female students became responsible for their learning. ).
The thesis recommended (holding training courses for teachers focused on the use of the educational program in teaching for its role in developing students’ achievement, and the need to pay attention to providing the educational means that the researcher provided to the students, which were (data-show devices, blackboards, and learning resources)
