The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care, organized an electronic scientific workshop on Husseini rituals and ceremonies from the seasonal and occasional framework to the space of life behavior and daily practice with multiple aspects and dimensions.
The symposium aimed to clarify the goals and dimensions of Husseini rituals and ceremonies and their impact on life behavior and daily practices and the extent of their translation into reality.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Khawla Hassan Hamoud Al-Aboudi, Director of the Center for Guidance and Psychological Care, included clarifying the goals and contents of the Husseini revolution and translating them through authentic rituals and moving beyond being seasonal rituals to daily behavior and practices and achieving balance through the true understanding of Husseini rituals and reading the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as a religious and human revolution full of values and ideals, and to draw inspiration from these values and lessons to reform the present and build the future.
