The lecturer at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, Dr. Murtada Jawad Awad Al-Madouh, held courses on jurisprudential, ethical and educational aspects for children and adolescents.
The course aimed to spread the concepts and sciences of the Qur’an among children and adolescents in ways that make them connect with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
The course included explaining the educational, ethical and jurisprudential aspects derived from the Holy Qur’an to preserve children’s values and morals from imported cultures and to focus the Qur’anic vision on different aspects of life with the danger of their preoccupation with multiple and dangerous means of communication on their thoughts and daily habits.
The course, which was held at Abu Talib Mosque in Shatt al-Arab District, will continue for a full month during the summer vacation.
