The College of Pharmacy actively participated in providing various essential services to the honorable visitors at the Shalamcheh border crossing, as part of the main distinguished service procession organized by the University of Basrah, which in turn is an integral part of the major governmental efforts aimed at supporting the millions-strong Arba'een Pilgrimage and ensuring its success.
In this context, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, emphasized that the College of Pharmacy has consistently and annually contributed to providing the finest services to the honorable visitors intending to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) in the holy city of Karbala.
The Dean clarified, stating: "This year, we participated within the comprehensive main procession of the University of Basrah to provide multiple services including the distribution of food, pure water, and other ready healthy meals, which mainly contribute to providing evident service to the visitors crossing from the Shalamcheh border towards the holy shrines in Karbala and Najaf."
He indicated that these noble service and voluntary actions were carried out with the remarkable participation and solidarity of the honorable professors and staff of the college, within the framework of our college's diligent and institutional efforts to ensure the success of the Arba'een Pilgrimage and its optimal performance for this year.
